Hands-on Herbal Remedy class on my farm!

Are you interested in learning more about herbs and how to make your own herbal remedies?

I have scheduled my class “Herbal Medicine Made Simple: The Art of Herbal Medicine from a Christian Perspective!” for Sunday, September 21. Class will begin promptly at 1:00 pm and we usually end between 6:00 and 6:30 pm.  The ending time depends on how quickly you work since this is a hands-on class. There will be a variety of herbal books available for you to browse through before and after class if you’d like to do a bit of research for your own needs.

Here is a detailed description of this class:

In this simple, easy to understand class you will learn the basics of making your own herbal remedies. We will cover 10 easy-to-grow medicinal herbs, including some that commonly grow wild. The herbs included in this course are Calendula, Chamomile, Comfrey, Feverfew, Horehound, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Mullein, Plantain, and Red Clover. You will learn how to grow these herbs, how to harvest them, when to harvest them and how to use them in herbal remedies. You will learn their plant families, their medicinal properties and see a color picture of each one. Weather permitting, we will take a walk outside to see any that happen to be growing on my farm during this season.

You will also learn how to make the most common herbal remedies! You will make a water infusion, a decoction, a hot oil infusion, a syrup, a compress, a poultice, a salve and a tincture! I have included a copy of my own research sheet that I use when studying a new herb. This course contains over 50 pages of material!

I will also demonstrate making your own capsules (so easy and inexpensive!) and show you how to make colloidal silver yourself (again…easy and inexpensive!).

You will be given a special email address, just for students, so that you may continue to ask questions and learn! My job is to mentor you closely for the next 30 days and your job will be to work through this course and ask lots of questions…as many as you want and as often as you want!

The money you can save by making your own remedies as opposed to purchasing them from health food stores will amaze you! For less than the cost of a typical trip to a doctor’s office, you can learn how to care for your family naturally!

The cost for this class is $50.00, less than the typical cost of one visit to the doctor’s office. This includes the class, a print out of my E-book, Herbal Medicine Made Simple: The Art of Herbal Medicine from a Christian Perspective! (which sells online for $20) and the items you make and take: a salve, a syrup and a tincture. We will be enjoying some herbal tea during class and there will be a short break part way through the day where you will enjoy some yummy herbal snacks.

If a married couple wishes to share the book, the cost for the second registrant will be $30. Mature teenagers are also welcome to attend with parents for $30 if they share the book with Mom and Dad.

Classes are limited to 12 students per class.  This allows me to make sure each person leaves with the hands-on knowledge and confidence to go home and begin to implement what they have learned in class. Please make your reservations early.  I have taught this class for over a decade and they tend to fill quickly.  Once 12 registrants have paid for a class, that class will be closed.

Classes must be paid for in advance. You may reserve your place in class by sending your class fee through Paypal. You can leave a comment below with your email address, or message me on Facebook (TNfarmgirl Naturals) for more information.

If you would like to pay with a credit card, please leave a comment below with your email address and I’ll contact you.

Class fees are not refundable.  In case of an emergency cancellation, your fee may be applied to a future class or you may take that amount in products from TNfarmgirl.

My goal is to see you able to treat yourself and your family naturally, effectively and easily with the herbal remedies you will learn to create. Come…join me on the journey to learn about our Father’s healing gift of herbs!

Blessings!
